1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Amalfi Experience, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. About the Platform

Amalfi Experience is a marketplace connecting travelers with property owners (hosts) and local experience providers (partners) on the Amalfi Coast. We facilitate bookings but are not a party to the agreement between guests and hosts/partners.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make bookings.

4. Bookings

All bookings are subject to availability and host/partner confirmation. Prices displayed include applicable fees. By completing a booking, you enter into a direct agreement with the host or partner. Amalfi Experience acts as an intermediary.

5. Payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Full payment is required at the time of booking. Prices are displayed in EUR. Amalfi Experience does not store credit card information.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation policies are set by individual hosts and partners. Refund eligibility depends on the specific cancellation policy of your booking. Refunds are processed via the original payment method within 5-10 business days.

7. User Conduct

You agree to use the platform lawfully and respectfully. You must not submit false information, harass other users, attempt to circumvent the platform for direct bookings, or use automated systems to scrape content.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on Amalfi Experience: including text, images, design, and code: is owned by theVincenzoLambiase and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Amalfi Experience provides the platform "as is". We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of listed properties or experiences. We are not responsible for disputes between guests and hosts/partners. Our liability is limited to the amount of fees we collected for the relevant booking.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Salerno, Italy.

11. Reporting to the police

Article 109 of the Italian T.U.L.P.S. requires whoever runs an accommodation to report the details of every guest to the Questura within twenty-four hours of arrival, six hours for stays shorter than that. The duty falls on the operator of the property and cannot be transferred by contract: Amalfi Experience does not take it on, and could not. What we do, on the host’s behalf and on their instruction, is carry to Alloggiati Web the data the host has checked: we answer for that carriage working — record format, transmission, the outcome of each row, the receipt — not for the truth of the data nor for the identification having taken place. Identification stays with the host, who under the same rule must recognise the guest in person or over a live video call: no feature of this site replaces that. The guest declares, on their own responsibility, that the details they entered are those on the document they hold, and is warned that a false declaration to a public authority is a criminal offence under art. 76 of D.P.R. 445/2000. Anyone who spots a mistake corrects it from their own profile, or tells the host, before the filing goes out.

12. City tax

The tourist tax is set by the comune, not by us. Rates, exemptions, caps and seasons differ from one comune to the next and from one year to the next: the figures the site applies are the ones the host has entered for their own property, and it is the host who answers for their matching the comune’s current rules and for paying the money over. What we show is a calculation on those figures, not a statement of what is owed. Where the tax is paid — at the property on arrival, or together with the stay — is the host’s decision, within their comune’s rules.

13. Coast pass

The coast pass is a one-off purchase that opens the site’s planning tools for thirty days: itineraries, journal, crowd calendar, live data, concierge and passport. It is not a subscription and does not renew itself. It gives no right to any accommodation, experience or third-party service, all of which are still booked and paid for separately. Anyone staying at a property in the collection gets the same tools at no extra cost by completing the check-in. As digital content available immediately, a consumer who asks for it to be activated at once agrees to lose the right of withdrawal once they have used it (art. 59(o) of the Italian Consumer Code); before the tools have been used, withdrawal can still be exercised by writing to the address at the foot of this page.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.
